You simply must go. This is one of the most awe-inspiring places on Earth. We took a guided tour - cheap from central Mexico City and well worthwhile. You need a whole day and take your time. Climbing the pyramids is a must and you don't need to be super-fit, but it is 9000 feet above sea level. We are... More

Go ready to walk a lot and climb stairs, don't forget your sun block for your skin, if you are in a bigger group is is worth getting a guide who will explain many things (don't forget: bargain prices!). Be careful with the expensive gifts being sold by individuals and, if you are with a guide, she/he will stop at... More

We thought that we would pull up to the front gate and be right there in front of the pyramids....nope. Bring your walking shoes and MAKE SURE YOU EAT BEFORE!!! Bring water and sun block. There isn't any shade and there is a reason why their selling hats in the stores while entering the main gate. We ended up rending... More

really fantastic place, even if there are a lot of people usually. Was twice and will be there again. It is one of the most interesting historical places in the world. Was traveling there by car - 0,5 h from center of Mexico City by paid road.

You cant miss this one if you go to Mexico, Distrito Federal. Its a must location if you are in the area, you can go to TAPO (central autobuses oriente) and get a round trip to get here! the price is 90 pesos (like 8 dlls) and get there in 1 1/2 hours. There are tour buses that get you... More

Definitely worth visiting, just remember that you won't be able to have your camera tripod with you, so leave it in the car. I spend them two hours, only this because we had long list of things to see and no much time, but whole place is hudge so be prepared for a lot of wlaking. Good feeling to sit... More

After we had walked around the grounds of the Pyramids, our guide, Gersom took us to the Museum which was free with our ticket. I am not much of a museum person, but I did like this one. So many ancient artifacts. There were some that bothered me and that was the artifacts of human remains that at one time... More

After you walk around looking at the fascinating pyramids go to the museum, it's free with your entry ticket. They have a nice display of artifacts and a garden surrounding the museum. After your visit you can go to La Gruta (cave) restaurant just outside the gates.

A great museum to see before your trek up the pyramids. Very modern and pretty. Our kids (ages 10 and 12) enjoyed it as much as we did.
