This city is great for visual art. It's everywhere you go! The Art walk is something we do at least once, each time we visit. As others have said, the galleries run the spectrum from friendly and highly informative to those you can cut the attitude with a fork. It makes for a great mix of experiences, an opportunity to... We found this a great way to see historic PV by night and enjoy a wide range of artworks and chat with friendly gallery owners, many offering a glass of wine and insights into the local art scene. My wife and I always find art is a gateway into the heart & mind of local culture so this is a... More

The galleries range from really high end and snobby to affordable and friendly. If you collect ceramics, art, or crafts it is a fun evening. Some galleries have wine and people linger. But I would use the opportunity to have an overview and when you have decided on places you like to go back and shop without lots of people... More

A must see when you're in Vallarta. The artisans are very friendly and more than willing to explain in detail, their art work.

This is the thing to do! Wednesday nights only, there is a map but seriously there are so many galleries that you could walk for hours like I did. Some of the best work I have seen.

My husband and I always put the Art walk on our calendar when we're in Puerto Vallarta. There are many very talented artists displayed there and a very interesting variety of art work.

We visited all the galleries listed on the Art Walk. Several of the galleries were friendly and openly offered wine to sip. They also spoke to us about their artists even though we were not purchasing anything. Other gallery owners were much more reserved and did not seem welcoming. I would recommend that you not be put off if you... More

This is a great venue to take in during the day or night, so many talented local artists are showing their wares here, there definitely is touristy stuff and traps, but so much real good art as well
