The Malecon has changed a lot in the past decade. It's a nice big long Malecon with restaurants and shops and beautiful statues. I love to walk the Malecon every time we go to PV. And the sunsets are stunning!

Great place to do some souvenir shopping, eating, drinking, and a bunch of history. Nice walk along the beach. Very relaxing for the most part, but that is also where the timeshare guys are looking for you.

Was in PV November 27 to Dec 4 and took a break from the hotel hustle and bustle to walk the Malecon, very enjoyable looking at all the works of art and also very clean.

It seems every year we come to Puerto Vallerta they have extended the Malecon (walkway along the bay) and added to the art. So romantic and beautiful.

After the big remodel some years back, El Malecon is a bustling location for an evening stroll, street food, street performers and nightlife. It snot that long but there is a really nice view and you can walk all along the beach. If you're lucky you can usually spot some nice rock art or sand sculptures made by locals. You... More

Nice board walk. Would recommend for shopping the fancier shops, or going to the night clubs. Hood for walks or runs.

Families in their Sunday best enjoying a beautiful sunset over the Paciifc Ocean. Have a beer -or 2- in one of the sidewalk cafes. Look up at the hill behind the Malecon to the overwelming structure of the church of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the cobble stone streets of old Puerto Vallarta ( where Elizabeth Taylor's home is now...
