Sit on the sand, soak up what you see.Families, couples, children enjoying the close of another day in Paradise. If lucky you will see fisherman casting their lines before sunset. Some of the fishing charters make their way home.Even the dogs smile as they frolic in the waves.

It's a pleasant walk during the day, stop for a drink under an umbrella, eat frozen yogurt... But at night, it transforms. Everything lights up in beautiful colors, a walk on the pier provides amazing views and quiet reflection. Walking along the path we saw...More

I visited Playa de los Muertos with a group of friends and everyone we encountered along the way was very inviting and kind. Not the Mexico that you might hear bad reviews about.

The beach is nice and many restaurants have palapa on the beach with chairs. If you consume some drinks you can spend the day there. The only dangerous thing are the parachute boats, because they drive very fast and the pilots are looking to their...More

If you are looking for a beach that is close to everything you want, this is the one. The only problem is that everyone knows about it. It is not at the top of my list, but the location can't be beat.

This is a fairly easy walk to the beach or anywhere else in the Zona Romantica, but the trip back up the hill can be challenging, especially after a day at the beach. We found that it kept us in shape. There is a short... More

Hi Tim. Yes it is polluted. Wear shoes and socks while walking on sand. I would not ever swim in that area. For two reasons. February and March 2016 one person perished in rip tides daily. Often the person was only walking... More

I wouldn't think so. I know you can arrange a rooftop wedding at Los Cuatro Vientos Hotel up behind the cathedral on Matamoros at sunset. I have witnessed one and it was very beautiful. The hotel has a website where you... More
