There is so much to do from the beaches to the great restaurants and bars. Make sure and check out some of the awsome shows that are held most days of the week.

The food is excellent, the price is cheap and the viow is extraordinary. Only issue is the elevator is old and was out for 4 days and the restaurant is on the 4th floor.

My 6th time staying in the Romantic Zone. Great restaurants just steps away. This time I actually made myself a calendar with the restaurants I wanted to go to as I usually pass them by. So glad I did. Tucan Freddy;s, Maximillian's were great.

If you are going to stay anywhere in PV, stay in the romantic zone! The local restaurants, the coffee shops that aren't burnt tasting S*Bucks are on this side of town. I have stayed in the Hotel Zone and yes, the hotels are more modern over there, but there's NOTHING over there. You can't really walk to anything in the hotel zone - everything is within walking distance in the Romantic Zone.

This area has everything you could possibly need for your vacation. From restaurants and bars to massages and souvenirs. Never felt unsafe even when walking back to the hotel from the bars at 1am.

Lively with full of happy people. Many restaurants, pubs, and bars. Many people on the beach enjoying the sun and spending time with friends and family. Relaxing place. Enjoyed the drink and early dinner on the beach. Price was much higher than restaurants in Conchas Chinas. Another tourist beach town.

The Melacon and Zona Romantica are must see areas. Old colonial buildings, beautiful churchas, cobble stone streets, and lots of restarurants, bars, and gift shops. The waterfront area is spectacular.

Also known as Old Towne this is the most popular section for tourists. Hundreds of eatteries, boutiques, souvenir shops, pharmacies, and Bars abound here. Very popular with the LGBTQ crowd and families alike. If peace and quiet are what you appreciate, stay in the Hotel Zone and either Bus, Uber, or Taxi to the area as nightlife is abundant and noisy until 2:00 am and beyond. The unfortunate side of the equation is the knocking down of original building to make room for high-rise condos, due to the lack of competent city planning.

Feb 2022 • Couples
Thursday 3rd February and we had spent some time exploring and sightseeing in El Centro while walking along The Malecón enjoying the sights and attractions.
It was time to move on and we crossed over the Puente Rio Cuale and the next part of our adventure began in Zona Romántica. North of the Bridge, which was the original Malecon, however it now includes the entire strip, both sides, including Paseo DÃaz Ordaz.
Once over the Bridge The Malecón continues and runs along Playa Olas Atlas, walking along here we ended up at Playa de los Muertos and it's Pier. We were able to walk along the small pier and around the impressive Sail, an integral part ot the Pier.
This is a trendy area, with a Bohemian feel to the area. It may not have the initial visual impact, like it's neighbour, El Centro, however it does have its own unique charm and appeal. The cobbled streets are lined with cafes, bars, shops and restaurants, some with quaint verandas, and others with seating on the street. Ideal place to stop for some cold refreshments, a snack or a meal and just enjoy the ambience and also people watch.
A number of statues and sculptures are dotted around the streets.
There are a large number of LGBT Bars, a very welcoming place, numerous drags show are advertised around the area.
One of the features of the Zone is the colourful Parque Lazaro Cardenas, with statues, colourful mosaic benches and walls.

The nicest restaurant we went to was La Palapa on the beach. We actually walked to eat a El Dorado which was highly recommended by both the locals and trip advisor but we weren't sure of the menu. But right before El Dorado was La Palapa and we liked their menu so we decided to eat there. The food, attentive waiters and cocktails were way above what we had anticipated. Since it was on the end of the Malecon and on the beach you did not have a million people walking in front of you and the VIEW at sunset was amazing. Not to mention they had a live guitarist playing in the back ground. This will be our go to 'nice dinner out' night restaurant in the future...and you don't even have to dress up! We live in the desert and to have a high class dinner in flip flops on the beach for around a $100 was amazing!
What kind of nightlife is there on Saturday's?

There is a ton of bars. You can walk from one to another. Everyone loves Andales for music and dancing. Margarita Grill has music to listen to. Kelly's Por Favor has live music. If your willing to go a little out of town, go to Rio BBQ in Mismaloya. Excellent food and different live music and specials each day. The music was like 4-8 tho. First time we found this place this year and it will now be a regular stop. Have fun!

Looking for recommendations for private transportation/transfer from airport to hotel in Romantica zone.

The government only allows cabs to pick people up at the airport. The ride to your hotel if you take the cab is about 35$ American. If you don’t want to pay that much you must leave the airport and cross a bridge on foot dragging your suitcases. The bridge is easy to find. Many people do it. At the end of the bridge are taxies lined up and they will take you there for half price. Uber works great for taking you to the airport. Used Uber many times was great. Used many cabs, I have never negotiated the fare prior to getting in. I have never had anyone attempt to screw me over, just many great drivers.

We will be arriving inPV end of October. We will arrive at airport at noon but can not check into our rented apt until 3pm. Should we just hang out at airport and take cab closer to check in time? We are senior citizens with 2 pieces of luggage to carry with us.

In our case we arrived around 1:00 and it took about two hours to clear customs, get our luggage and our pre arranged transportation. They were very busy. You may not get to your accommodations until close to 3:00 pm just going thru the process. I definitely would not hang around the airport. You may be able to check in a little early. You may also ask your driver to stop at a store for some supplies like coffee, any liquor water and other grocery items. We are seniors who travel to Mexico often. We love accommodation with kitchen so we can have morning coffee, a cocktail before going to dinner. We are going to Cano in Janv
