The Plaza is a nice gathering place. Some come to rest in the shade and sit in the gazebo looking structure. Which I think the gazebo is so beautiful. We pasted by in the morning and not much was going on at that time.

The plaza was very relaxing and had a lot of activities going on. That weekend there were stands selling an array of books a bit expensive though. Here I found a guy that sold tuba and it was a delicious drink made from the heart of the palm tree.

There was something going on in that plaza every single night we were in PV. There were jugglers, musicians and comedians. Even if you don't understand Spanish its very enjoyable to wander along with the locals and partake of their culture. Don't miss it.

Not a tourist spot. This is how Latin Americans live... the plaza is the center of village/town life. Lots of local color and flavor. Teenagers making out. Couples and their kids sitting around, watching the entertainment, having an ice cream or some tacos. Highly recommended to see, even if you just keep on walking.

Sitting between the Malecon and Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe church, it's worth a visit. Daytime there are a variety of food and craft vendors and usually a live performance or two happening, at night the focus is very much on foods, and the area is very pretty lit up.

This place faces the cathedral. Lots going on. We saw two weddings over the week we were in town. No tourist establishments in the area, just offices facing the plaza

Very typical Mexico. Main plaza where people collect and rest under the shade. Were there during Dia de los Muertos and lots of displays and activity. Don't miss the church nearby. Recommend.

Beautiful plaza, with plenty of seating, located not far from the church of Guadalupe. Really enjoyable to sit here and watch the city work with plenty of shade to escape the hot sun. Definitely worth taking half hour to sit and enjoy this space.

Stunning architecture, culture and friendly locals made this outing one we'll never forget. There were street performers, street vendors, shops, and all kinds of things to see!

Its name says what its place implies for the Vallartenses- the Principal Square. You will note the early morning crowd who clean their storefront, the police directing traffic and those going to government and private lawyer offices moving along smartly. Later in the morning and early afternoon you will also see the tourists strolling along so that street vendors can... More
