We fished for three days at El Salto Lake and caught dozens of good sized bass. For a fisherman, this is nearly paradise!

5 of us spent 4 days with Anglers Inn and caught loads of fish. We avg. over 50 bass a day per man, with several over 8 lbs. each day! The food and lodging are very good and the guides are terrific. We felt very safe the entire trip and thoroughly enjoyed being at El Salto. We will definitely be... More

Picked up at Mazatlan, 2hr drive in nice van on very good highway to anglers inn lodge right on lake el salto. Met with drinks and nachos and then shown to room. Rooms were clean but most impressive to me was that they were ice cold. Air conditioners worked great all week and made for perfect sleeping. Staff was so... More

Big bass was 7.9 lb. 6 bass over 6 lb. 10 bass over 5 lb. Most bass in the 3 to 5 lb range. Very few bass under 3 lb. The Telapia nets were an unpleasant surprise. They are everywhere. Food & service were really good and accommodations were OK. Good guides. Remote location on rugged dirt road. Enjoyed our... More

We decided to try the new lake of the Angler's Inn, Lake Picachos. Awesome people, awesome food, awesome fishing, just can't say more. Only down side, no retail shop to replenish lost tackle or purchase clothing. We caught 362 bass, lost lots near boat, only counted if touched, and biggest was 4 lbs 12 ozs. The lake is full of... The bass fishing was great, lots of fish...and lots of big fish. The scenery was spectacular, the sunrises and sunsets amazing, and the the number and variety of birds was wonderful to see. But the special part of El Salto was the staff. Sammy and his crew worked day and night to make sure everything we needed or wanted was... More

I spent 4 days fishing at El Salto Lake and staying at El Salto Lodge. The lodge is very nice with good boats, great guides, and wonderful lodge staff. Sguis, the manager and co-owner was excellent to deal with. Prices are reasonable, beds comfortable, and food very good. The fishing was excellent. Our group of 10 people landed several fish... If you are a fisherman and you enjoy bass fishing, Lake El Salto is the place for you. Rated as one of the top bass lakes in the world, El Salto will exceed all your expectations. You can go for the day or for the week, your choice but be prepared to catch lots of bass.
