Georgous Beach

This beach is simply georgous. We enjoy taking a stroll down this beach before going to dinner at the ever fun Mr. Lionso's. Besure and go to this beach for a beautiful sunset!

We stayed at the RIU Emerald Bay which is right on Playa Brujas. It is very beautiful and the water is fabulous. A must visit!

my first dining experience in Mazatlan, but have gone back twice since. Another time for dinner food was amazing and once for lunch, saw what others ordered and I didn't make the best choice the wouldn't suggest the cheese nachos (refried beans and lots of cheese) but the cheese fingers with fries at the next table looked amazing. and the... The beaches of Mazatlan are a great place in the winter months. In the summer, we've heard the average temperatures are in the one hundered and teens, but in January, when we've been here, the temperatures are in the low 70s to 80, which compares favorablely to our home in Michigan!! During this January (2017) we had a couple of... More

Located north of the RIU, this is the furthest point you can reach before traversing to Emerald Bay. It's a great walking beach and has a protected surfing area near the headland. We were fortunate to catch a turtle hatch in a secluded area, watching them make their way from sand to sea. Not to be missed is a meal... More

Walked to the end from the Riu, not far at all. Beach is great, soft sand and at low tide you can walk in water for quite a distance. At the end is where you will find shops, restaurants, café, surfboard rentals and lessons as well as massages. Wish I had found this earlier in the trip.

A beautiful beach with sand for miles. The waves are impressive and at low tide you can walk quite a distance. There are warnings of jellyfish and stingrays, but we had no issues

This was always on my "must go to" place for coconut shrim with mango sauce in the past. However on my last visit, I didn't enjoy them as much as I had before. They weren't hot and the breading wasn't as good. Service was slower as well. I won't go back for awhile.

Best deal in Mazatlan; 10 pesos per person each way on the city bus to Cerritos. at the end of the line, take the road to the left to Playa Bruja. Beautiful white sand beach, restaurant and board rentals. The shops on the road have good deals, too!
