This cathedral is one of the most beautiful in the world and has some markings near the ceiling that are unique to only a few cathedrals in the world. The history explains what happened, I won't spoil the surprise. Must see, its absolutely breathtaking.

Again, the Nexxus tour brought us to this location for some sight seeing. This cathedral is beautiful on the inside and out. Late 1800s architecture. This cathedral is gorgeous and a must-see if in Mazatlan. Truly spectacular. Right next to the main market and surrounded by other interesting tourist sites.

This was one of our stops on a 4 hour tour from the cruise port. I'm sure many people go there on their own but I'm glad we took a tour as we would have missed hearing about the amazing history otherwise. The multitude and beauty of the architectural designs is obvious but hearing about it's varied past was a... More

Beautiful older style cathedral. Attended a Sunday (Spanish language) mass during a recent visit to Mazatlan. We stopped by the day before to take in the paintings and statues.

This was one of our stops on our tour. One of their famous cathedrals. Chandeliers and stained glass really nice. Even got to see a Catholic wedding.
