Anywhere I visit, I love to tour the churches and cathedrals. We went to Immaculate Conception our second day in Mazatlan and it was locked up. Even though we were disappointed we still enjoyed taking photos of the outside. We went to the market on...More

The outside has been completely refurbished. It's a nice place to visit if you like old churches. Go on a Saturday when they don't have services.

Always enjoy stopping in to take solace in the Cathedral. Very tranquil and calming. Visited twice during stay. Just a few blocks south of the main Market and should not be missed on any visit.

Beautiful cathedral, nice architecture and a nice place to sit a spell out of the sun. Be mindful this is a active place of worship, so be quiet and respectful when inside. It is situated next to a main plaza and local stores in central...More

It was a beautiful cathedral and open to the public. It is in the center of town but, in a quiet neighborhood.

This church is amazing. Breathtakingly beautiful. It is quite large and the detail is amazing. It is very close to an outdoor market for souvenir shopping.

This is one of the best Cathedrals in Mazatlan. The interior is really gorgeous and the services are traditional. Just a note here, it is only good manners to wait until a service is done before entering, however, you are more than welcome to attend...More

We would like to attend mass on Sunday May 7th while staying at El Cid El Moro. What are the times and what is the best way to get there. Do we need tickets to go to Mass?

Taxi to the church will cost less than $20 US. No tickets needed. Unfortunately, I do not recall the mass schedule, but I suspect the desk personnel at your hotel will be able to advise you.

I don't know what time mass is, but a pulmonia is the most convenient way to get there. All the drivers know the cathedral.

I'm not sure if they have any English masses. There were no English masses for the Solemnity of Mary on January 1 when we were there. We have been to English mass at San Judas Tadeo in the Golden Zone. It was at 8:45 am.
