Well preserved/restored church and very pretty inside. Not as impressive as many in Europe but worth a look (and no charge to visit). Nice little park across from it and near an active market area.

Wow, what a remodeled church. There was a mass going on when we visited as well. This is a must see no matter what religion you are.

The Immaculate Conception Cathedral is a very old, but beautiful church. Many large statutes and a marble alter. Spent about 30 minutes in the church and even with a large number of people coming in, going out and mingling throughout the church it was still quiet enough for prayers and having private time. The church itself is a pale yellow... More

This beautiful church opened at 4pm. The stained glass windows during sunset cast the most gorgeous colours inside the cathedral. Note the history of the Star of David's in the stained glass. What a wonderful experience.

The renovations are almost completed. Step inside and feel the calm and peace surround you. Enjoy looking at the stained glass. Be courteous as people are there to pray or just to sit and take in the spirituality of the place. The cathedral is surrounded by shops and traffic. A must see place.

The church itself is beautiful, it's the area it's in that was a disappointment. I've read previous reviews that stated that the courtyard in front of the church was a place to gather and have a meal or drink with musicians and street performers. Their were no places to sit, eat or drink outside. Their wasn't any entertainment ,and what... More
