For a mear 40 pesos from our hotel, Villablanco, we took a taxis ride here a few times to enjoy the beach and snorkel. You can take your out lunch and refreshments or by from many vendors. Loved the beach and the locals and their families.

Our mistake, visiting this beach over Easter holidays. Could not move there were so many people. Recommend going during off season.

The image of the beach would be completely beautiful as long as the tons of restaurants on the sand had at least nice music. Very bad karaoke & the beach can be dirty just because of the amount of people. The history of the beach is in fact outstanding once its name comes from one of the more sad moments... More

This beach is amazing for snorkeling, eating and having a fun time. We sat at the front of the Entrega Restaurant and the service was impeccable, the beer was cold and the food excellent, what more could one ask for while in paradise. When visiting Huatulco you must try this spot, it is absolutely breathtaking. Go, GO, GO

Awesome spot! Calm water and good smirking. Had a wonderful afternoon. Try the shrimp in a half pineapple. To die for!

We came here as part of a snorkeling excursion with Oaxaca Expediciones. Go during the week when it is less crowded, and you can reserve a table at one of the restaurants for the whole day. Snorkeling is fun as the bay is protected from the dramatic Pacific surf, and the fish are plentiful and varied. Great relaxing way to... More

We spent a day here as our first Huatulco snorkelling location. We enjoyed it, but we enjoyed San Augustin more. It's easy to get to from down (70 pesos I think?) making it very accessible without a ton of hassle. Get there before 10 to avoid some of the crowds and find your spot.

Two visits this time around, one on a week day quiet and not crowded and on a weekend which was packed. The snorkelling is not as good and appears to be the result of too many visitors. Packed restaurants offering decent seafood. Easy to get to from Santa Cruz, La Crucecita or the AI resorts.

So he drove us to the back door, we walked in, dropped our stuff, no harasement. snorkled for an hour or so ( i wore a wetsuit top-... More
