I have been here 4 times....once during the day and 3 times at night. The daytime is when the divers practice. It is scary to watch....but you can see their climb up the mountain, which makes the dives all the more amazing. To view this...More
These men jump into the water, then swim across and climb the rock face to the top, approx. 150 ft. When they are sure the conditions are safe, they launch themselves off the rocks, to land in the center of the 20 ft. deep channel....More
We not only saw some awesome divers but also got to see a few whales offshore swimming around. This is something everybody needs to do at least once. You can buy beers or sodas and food or just stand their and watch. It's very comfortable...More
We decided to watch the Quebrada divers at 20:30 by making a recreation at the Hotel Mirador, La Perla restaurant (not to be confused with so many restaurants named "La Perla" in Acapulco!). We payed 590 pesos each for a three course meal. We actually...More
The divers are fantastic and the climbing of those cliffs is almost as breath taking as the actual dive! Suggest you sit on the far right of the viewing platform. Excellent seat and great for watching the dancers that preform after the dives. Don’t forget...More

Hi Luckyman5 - I just googled Hotel Mirador which is adjacent to La Quebrada and is a common place to watch the cliff divers from. On my first trip to Acapulco, my late husband and I ate dinner there and simultaneously watched the cliff divers. If you just want to see the shows the telephone number of the hotel is 011-521-744-483-1260. Good luck and enjoy your trip to Acapulco. I would recommend that if this will be the first trip to Acapulco, go to the concierge at your hotel and a complete city tour can be arranged. WE did not do this and it took us many years to see everything they would have shown us.
