Its a beautiful mural full of colour & detail. It was nice to see on a tour but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it unless you like the story behind it or you are really into this type of work!

Absolutely beautiful mosaic. Diego Rivera made it as a marriage proposal. It is huge and the detail and colors are striking.

I was taken by surprise at how wonderful this mosaic is! I did not know what to expect but I was very impressed. The mural has an amazing story behind it and I hope you see this mural with an experienced guide. The story is amusing and also quite heart warming. It is sad that we cannot see inside this... More

Our taxi driver, born and raised in Acapulco, told us that the majority of the locals never seen it!..., not sure if it is true, but we visited the gorgeous mosaic built mural on a Saturday afternoon, and there was not a soul around. Can't imagine how such a beautiful piece of art can be left totally unattended and expose... More

This incredible mosaic mural is at the home where Diego Rivera lived in his final years with his girlfriend. I believe the home is open to the public where you can see the studio she set up for him there. It is on the way to the place to see the cliff divers, so take a moment to stop at... More

This is a nice, big mural that it must have taken hours to do. Although, it is a shame that some parts of it are ruined. From the information we received from our guide - a millionaire/government bought it and will be renovating it soon. What are they waiting for?

Not really too much of an art fan, but it's definitely pretty and quite large. The mural consists of thousands of tiny tiles glued to a wall to create different images with various meanings behind them. I would not have gotten as much out of the visit without my local guide Sebastian Hernandez explaining it all to my wife and... More

Fun stop if you are driving around Old Acapulco! Interesting that he lived in Acapulco for a year. The mural of of Mexico's legendary plumed serpent.

We drove by this mural. Actually stopped to take pictures, but didn't stay long. Ok if you are driving by, but wouldn't pay extra money to make it a "stop" on my itinerary.
