We hired a private car and our driver took us to the old markets. Very hot and no real bargains. Our driver stayed with us the entire time.

Old Acapulco pretty much looks like any other old town in Mexico. For the price of $ 35 for the tour, you may wish to go somewhere more exciting.

My family wanted to spend some time there, but the Tour did not allow us to do that. The Fishing boats looked fun and there were many stores. I would encourage you to check it out. We were only in Acapulco two days.
