After 11 years of visiting Acapulco we finally went to the Zocalo. Had an excellent meal at the Italian restaurant and were entertained along the walk throughout the area later. No hassles and lots to see, shop , and do.

The best day to visit is Sunday, that is family day, and man vendors ar out selling. If you want it quieter, go any other time. It is a must see. I go every year.

Wonderful place to experience the heart of Acapulco. You can visit the church, and walk through many walkways to shop or eat. There are a million birds chirping at night. Many locals sitting and relaxing. Short walk to Woolworth's and the busy traffic area.
