There is a cathedral, which can't be seen from distance as there are so many trees covering it. Few, very few restaurants but so many street sellers. Its crowded with people selling the regular non-interesting things

Great way to get a sense of the local culture. Local vendors selling all sorts of goods and great place to just sit and get a feel for Acapulco.

Centrally located in main Acapulco the Zocalo is an absolute must see place here. Top of the line restaurants with outdoor patio seating available. Souvenir shops very close by. Great Service!

The zocalo is a central place where you can go for shopping, food, buy jewells and all kind of stuf. There's always show with clowns and jugglers. The Italian restaurant serves quality food, get there early at dinner because there is always a line up.

Years ago we loved to go to the Zocalo at night and watch the children with their parents strolling and meeting their neighbors, the old men playing checkers; like Old Havana. Very local and very friendly. Beautiful old church for the fisherman of the Bay....More
