We were not expecting two young children to be our guides with this experience but I wouldn’t change it for anything. They were knowledgeable, funny and accommodating. We could get as close as we wanted without touching or using flash. We also got to enter...More

We arrived an hour or so before sunset, and saw several nests being opened, it was fascinating to see the tiny turtles emerging. We were able to ask lots of questions, and learned a lot about the reasons for the project, and how it works....More

We monitored their FB page to be notified when a clutch had hatched. We arrived at 6pm and were met by a large group of other visitors. They taught us a bit about the turtles, what they do and how we all can help. They...More

This is a very interesting experience. Countless times I have seen baby turtles heading out to sea in documentaries, being able to see it right on the beach was awesome. Yes it is controlled environment, but that this is the price we pay for damaging...More

It was a lot of fun to watch the newly hatched turtles make their way to the Pacific. Also satiated our desire to see a sunset from the beach!

We were so glad to see this important work continuing having been here 5 years ago. Still the same passion, only this year we had the insights of their 12 year old son, which just added to the marvelous, unique experience. You MUST do this...More

The experience was great releasing the hatchlings, the beach was great for seeing whales in the distance, not suggested for swimming. The group that runs the green house is poorly organized, horrific communication. We adopted a nest for $40 and were supposed to get pictures...More

Thanks for coming to see the release! Your nest hasn't hatched yet. Each adoptee is assigned an individual nest and when it hatches the photos and data will be sent.(its not a stock photo like many adoption programs) We still have about 30 nests incubating....More

Came here specifically to see the baby turtles. Released about 150 into the water while here. Amazing.

Along the shorelines, these baby turtles have miniscule chance to both making it out to sea and living for long in the water. You can help by launching an infant turtle on its life voyage, showing it out of a wooden bowl in to the...More

I have not seen any tours so I would recommend renting a car. There are a few parking spots at the beach available.
