Good market to visit if you're anyway walking along the main tourist drag in Tijuana, Avenida Revolucion. They have a bit of everything and it provides for some nice photo opportunities. Spend 10-15 minutes looking around here and you're done unless you decide to purchase...More

Lots to look at but It was too much for me as a tourist for buying. There was food, pottery, candles, and any trinket you could imagine.

This market is pretty much a big bazaar. You find everything from fresh groceries to clothing, souvenirs, medicine etc... If you want to get a taste of the Mexican culture this is a great place to check out and get some good colorful pictures too....More

El Popo is an authentic Mexican Market located downtown on Revolucion Ave. where you see the large clock on the sidewalk. The market features fruits, vegetables, religious items, souveniers, and many other items.

Stopped in here real quick...it's a great place to look around and get a feel for the market in Tijuana. Though I didn't purchase anything here, you can certainly find a wide variety of items.

Not a great market area. Walk the streets of Tijuana instead for an amazing mexican experience. This market place simply doesn't provide that experience

Google it. Easy to get there. Make sure your cell phone internet works there so you can get maps and navigate. I've gotten lost several times in TJ ( it's apart of the adventure) and now I know my way around.

Yes, I believe it is as safe as any market in Mexico. Fruits and vegetables need to be cleaned properly.
