Made a side trip to have some coconuts which were very good. Saw the boardwalk with the workout equipment which was in working order. Nice place for a quick side trip.

The food was authentic and cheap. The people watching was unlike the resorts in mexico. This place is where the locals go. There were two weddings when we went.

For all intents and purposes, Playas is one single beach. Currents are treacherous so swimming is only for the experienced and strong. The water rarely gets warm enough to enjoy.
