Playas de Tijuana is a popular place for locals on the weekends and some evenings. Listen to mariachi music and indulge in the fresh, wonderful tropical fruit and roast corn from stands on the boardwalk. Walk along the beach, stroll the boardwalk or sit in the bleachers, enjoy the view and people watch. There are strict health standards for food... More

Worth seeing the Pacific Ocean when the sun is out. You can stop and eat, take a walk, take photos, just enjoy the water, etc. I got to see whales off shore!!

It was kind of stinky but very interesting to see the partly finished buildings. The tide ruined some of them and the others never finish or they will have to start paying taxes. So interesting to see the border wall that extends into the ocean and learn about the area. Very pretty. An Amish community lives down the coast closer... More

Playas is awesome! Food is great and the atmosphere is super fun! If you're looking for something fancy this isn't for u! But if you wanna have a 3dollar michelada listen to Banda and walk around and checking out the beach view and the locals then this is it! Enjoy!

I believe this is one of the most visited places in Tijuana. It features a pretty nice boardwalk overlooking the ocean. The area is full with restaurants and coffee shops. There's people running in the mornings and sunsets are goreous at this place. Overlooking a body of water is a very relaxing experience. Doing it with a cup of coffee... More

I went to the beaches at the bordered wall. This area was beautiful with painted murals, sculptures and a community raised garden. Welcome to Tijuana posted in several places. Somewhat political and a very emotional place to visit. Words of encouragement, quotations taken from strong historical figures and beautiful painted pictures can be found on the length of the iron... More

If you are in Tijuana a must see. Take a uber or taxi from the main city - if you don't want to navigate the public transport etc... Pretty chilled out and relaxing, a very interesting place to be.

My favorite thing to do is have a cup of coffee by the beach at night. It is a great and beautiful place to take a walk. There is people at all time of the day, yet not crowded, so it is always pretty safe. There's a few shops and restaurants worth checking out.

Heard that there was glass on the beach etc and my wife had a few fears of getting bugged etc but this place was really cool. We ate at Reubens and Charlies and the patios are cool beachfront. Found a couple nice t-shirts for 6$ each. Wanted to go check out Rosarito beach but only had a couple hours.. was... More

Because of its location next to the US Border Fence and the Pacific Ocean it's worth a look see. Beyond that there are better beaches a few miles south in Rosario Beach. Again, it is unique. By the way, go to the US side of the Border Fence for a nice balanced view. There are special events, e.g. Concerts at... More
