Loreto's Malecon, which could almost be translated as boardwalk, offers great views and pleasant breezes, but probably even more, it's great for people-watching, visitors and locals alike.

Malecon is a strip of street perfect for viewing the coast and this is a good one, one of my favorites in Mexico!

The Malecon fronts Loreto Bay, including the Marina and the town’s main beach. The views are worth frequent visits, but you will also get an opportunity to see how small towns enjoy a simpler life. Even when I’m not fishing, I enjoy getting up early...More

Short walk but scenic, especially at sunrise and sunset. Very popular with the locals on the weekends.

Everything is lovely about this walk. The sea wall, the azure water and the white sand beach. There is a really bad smell right where the main street meets the Malecon. Not sure what's up here, but other than that it's perfect.

You can walk along and see crabs sunning themselves on the rocks and the fish near the rocks as well. Stop by a local bar or cafe for a bite, or just enjoy the views.

A love walk along the sea. Nice restaurants and lovely views. Loreto is a welcome respite after the drive from La Paz

Generally, a quiet place to walk and enjoy the scenery --- just not when the Baja 1000 race is in town! Walk out onto the breakwater for the best views, and if you clamber over the rocks (be careful!) the views become unobstructed. You might...More

Super tidy, well kept seaside walkway with great view of Coronado. Home to sportsfishing fleet. Beautiful Sea of Cortez. Benches to just sit and view the beauty of it all.

There is a very nice beach right beside the marina. Which is about 3 blocks north of the road to the town square. Good sand and gentle slope in the water. There is also another beach on the south end of the Malecon, in front... More
