We are divers that booked a last minute trip to snorkel with the whale sharks. One of the most amazing experiences! Our guide, Lorenzo, took the time to find the whale sharks. While other boats sat clustered around one whale shark, Lorenzo took us out farther where we were surrounded by 6 at one time and no other boats! Had... More

Our first day diving with Cortez club was fantastic. We rented our BCDs and our gear was well organized on the boat. Our dive master on the first day, Alejandra, was FANTASTIC and our pre-dive brief on point. Our second day was not as great - our dive master was new and not super helpful or knowledgeable, and not decisive... More

My wife and I decided to go scuba diving for the first time. We walked into the cortez club and they were able to get us scheduled for the day we wanted to go. They were very helpful going through the safety check. My wife had never done anything like this before and was very nervous. The staff was very... More

Went during Hammerhead season, but we were a little early. The sea mounts were great. Covered in green moray eels an lots of life. Schools of skip jack, marlin, sea turtle, reef life, and plenty of macro. Definitely go on Nitrox. Dives were 70-100'. Bring your own dive computer or rent one and track your bottom times. Dove a wreck... More

My friends and I spent a week diving with Cortez Club. First, on the reservation process, I had many kinds of personal problems, even having to delay our trip for a whole year, and they were great throughout the whole thing. After arriving La Paz, everything worked perfect, they took great care of us, our equipment, and our dives. After... More

We (my husband and myself) wanted to scuba a coral reef we snorkel at, and been to many times. Wanted to get a bit deeper than we can with just mask and fins as we are not freedivers by any means. This was a great chance to do a beach entry, and practice a few skills, in a place we... More

My girlfriend and I spent a week diving here with four of our friends. Our dive master, Emilio, was fantastic. He was very funny and nice and had extensive knowledge of all the dive sites. Snorkeling with the whale sharks was a great experience and diving with the sea lions at Los Islotes is unforgettable. La Rena is a bit... More

From office staff to office crew to boat captain to dive guide--wonderful! They went out of their way to take excellent care of us the whole time. We stayed at the adjacent hotel (reviewed separately) and it was SO handy to be able to hang our gear at the shop for the week. You really get the white-glove dive service... More

We dove with the Cortez club for a 2 tank dive. It was one of the best diving days me and my girlfriend has ever had. I can't remember our divemaster name but he was a nice guy. The boat ride was longer than I am used to doing to go diving but it was worth it and it was... More

Myself and two friends did a two tank dive and the whale shark tour with Cortez Club. All of us are PADI Open Water certified but we don't have a bunch of experience. The organization has a great vibe with great energy. Our dive master Sachi was so COOL and FUN and ENTHUSIASTIC as was our captain Marco. We dove... More
