This place was nasty. After visiting Balandro I wouldn't come within a mile of this beach. Not nice in the slightest. Got there and turned around as soon as I saw it

This beach is just a few miles past Balandra. The water is clear and beautiful and better for swimming. There are a few restaurants and a kayak rental plus bathrooms. Some restaurants played loud music but it was still relaxing. Not crowded. We had fish ceviche tostadas and fish tacos with Pacifico beer and great limonada. I would go again!

This beach is not as nice as Balandra, nor is it as much visited. A narrower beach and a bit rocky in some parts but still lots of sandy areas to settle down. Water is warm and is fairly shallow for quite a ways so it would be good for children. Had the stuffed clams at one of the restaurants... More

This beach is about a 40 minute drive away from La Paz. The road is being worked on so there could be some delays. Also, there is a port near there so there are lots of big trucks speeding on the two lane road. One you pass the port, then the road is less crazy. There are places to eat... More

We visited this beach Midweek during spring break time and saw maybe 15 people total, many of them Mexicanos on vacation. Calm water, soft sand and a few small restaurants are all that's here. I rented a jet ski for $35 for 1/2 hour and that was plenty. Highly recommend the fresh ceviche, even my 13 year old son thought... More

This is the place to go with your family when visiting La Paz. The beach is long and wide. Mexican families come here with their extended family to swim, play in the sand and enjoy the view. The water here felt warmer than on the beaches near town and on Espiritu Santo. Bring your own food or order lunch and... More

It's best to come to this beach, in my opinion, before Easter week. Located about 45 minutes from La Paz, BCS, Tecolote Beach is not built up, soft sand, and has a beautiful view of Espritu Santo island. We've been here once a week since we arrived 3 weeks ago. Come before noon and get a palapa because even in... More

I've been all over Baja and this place is the real Baja experience. It's kind of funky. The construction is crude. The furniture is not fancy. But, it's a great Baja place. The service is extremely friendly and the food is as good as it gets. The beach is great. I would go to La Paz just to spend an... More
