Hop around a few boulders, and splash in collecting pools as you hunt down some waterfalls. My husband and I found this spot while exploring the wine region in Valle de Guadalupe, so we certainly weren't prepared to hike (okay...we were wearing sandals, so we...More

This is an awesome and deep little black-rock canyon. Waterfalls are beautiful whenever they're flowing which they weren't while we were here this month, but we still had a blast working our way into this canyon and free-climbing out. I jumped into the deep and...More

Really enjoyed the short hike. Directions to the trail are pretty sparse, but walk through the main campground. Once you get to the falls (in season) / canyon you need to scramble over some boulders...which I love.

Camping site is just average, it's better as a one day hiking, the good this is that is very close from the border

This is in quite an isolated appearing area behind the city of La Mision on the old road. It is quite dramatic scenery. Don't walk alone and carry water.

The location is accessible by any kind of vehicles. The cover charge is reasonable. It has plenty areas to enjoy a BBQ! Grills and table provided. The trail is clear of obstacles and easy access for kids. The canyon is impressive but not accessible or...More

I went for the day with my family and it was fun. We enjoyed the hiking trail, walking through the canyon, beautiful views. An effective way to disconnect from the city and enjoy nature.
