We drove maybe 400 miles south on Mex1 starting in Tijuana. Once you get on the toll road and start heading south from TJ you'll see beautiful beaches and open space. South of Ensenada you start to get the feel for the vast open landscape....More

From Tijuana to El rosario the road is good. From El rosario to Gurrero negro the road is narrow and passing through the mountains
