Phra Nang is a great beach. Ao Phra Nang is actually in Ao Nang and it's not great. Lots of litter, broken branches and unkempt. Give it a miss

I am not sure if it was due to the time of year I was travelling in, but from photos on the internet I was expecting another idyllic little setting of Thailand. I arrived to find a very dreary town, not a lot going on...More

This is a nice Beach with a good sunset view. A good place to take a stroll when the tide is Low. There's lots of eateries across the road from the beach as well.

Pretty beach, quite crowded with tourists. Note that there is no restaurant/food vendors so bring your own snacks. Good (but crowded) climbing routes.

Hi so my boyfriend and I are taking a trip to Bangkok and already booked another flight to land in krabi for two days. So we want to see the limestone rock and beautiful beaches (scenery from music video I got U - Duke Dumont ). We also want to do scuba diving, canoeing, elephant trekking, + anything else that is recommended? within these two days So after some research, I am looking into staying at Ao Nang to be close to Phra Nang and then take a boat to Hong Island, and another boat (the second day) to Phang Nga Bay. How does that itinerary sound? Which area would be better to stay in if Ao nang is not the best choice? Which islands are better or worse? Is that reasonable to do in 2 days ? Any information or feedback would be greatly appreciated :)

Your IT is great but you cannot get it all done in 2 days. Ao Nang is close to everything. Fantastic beaches and good snorkeling but these areas are very crowded with tourists until sometime after April. Forget the... More
