Our sunrise private trip to Hong Island was unforgettable! I couldn't believe how unspoilt, serene, breathtaking this island was. Joy arranged everything for us and we left early as the sun was rising and arrived at Koh Hong before any other tourists. We had the island to ourselves, thank you Joy for a trip of a lifetime. Oir first time but definitely not our last! 😊
We swam in crystal clear waters, in aLagoon with mangrove forest, walked to an amazing viewpoint, Snorkeled coral reefs, picnic on the beach, explored nature and felt incredibly lucky to experience all this during Covid19.
We were incredibly lucky to witness a monitor lizard enjoying a morning swim off the beach. The waters were crystal clear, the beaches clean, not a site of rubbish anywhere, pure white sands and really interesting nature trails.
You can see the national park spend alot of time and energy looking after this island. There is a viewpoint at the top of the karat which is an easy enough walk up steps, taking about 20 minutes. I have been in Thailand for 17 years and have not seen the islandsnfrom this kind of perspective before. The tropical birds, the marine life snorkeling and land. Wildlife made this trip so special.
The guide was so informative and professional, the captain was gracious and safe, the food was served in environmentally friendly tiffin boxes - so no single use plastic in sight. The boat is big, comfortable, with plenty of shade and dry area.
This trip was perfect for the family and I'd strongly recommend visiting these amazing islands with this company l, especially the viewpoint!
Recommendation: go early to avoid crowds, however sunset would be amazing also! Take the kayak option to properly explore the Lagoon.
Go with this company as the longtail boats are bigger, cleaner and more quiet than the rest

When we contacted Joy we had an idea of the type of trip we were looking for but had no idea where we could go! Joy took alot of time (and patience) explaining different options to us until we finally decided that we would go with the kayaking trip in Ao Thalane. It was fabulous from start to finsih. We were advised to go early in the morning before it got busy and we literally had the entire place to ourselves. It was magical! It is a little more expensive but so worth it! We can't wait to come back and do more trips with Team Andamam!

During our holiday in Railay beach we made a full day private tour to the Phi Phi islands with a speedboat and we had a lovely day! I would very recommend to pay a bit extra for a private tour and especially for a speedboat. A longtail boat sounds very tradional Thai but makes a lot of noice and for a langer trip to Phi Phi it is way more relaxed to have a speedboat.
Andaman tours provided us with a lovely home Made Thai lunch, different sorts of curry and a dessert. Much better than all the other non private tours that we saw, so much people in a crowded boat and lunch out of a plastic plate. Our lunch was was a 100 times better! (See picture).
Phi phi islands are lovely to viset, and snorkeling around Maya beach is a great experience. One ‘but’, do not have the illusion that you end up on a private white sanded beach that you have for your own. All islands are very very crowded with tourists.

We booked a private speed-boat day tour to visit the nearby islands with lunch and sunset BBQ. Pick-up time was 10.30 AM and we would be back around 8PM. The boat arrived around 11.30, we had been waiting in the sun for 1 hour. The manager in the office and the crew on the boat gave 2 different explanations for the delay. The boat was an absolute shame, totally worn out, the seats looked like they were ripped apart by animals, several times the engine didn’t start and it was far from clean. This is not acceptable when you pay 500€ for 2 p. The lady-guide on the boat was nice and helpful. Authentic Thai lunch on beautiful Hong Island was very tasty and we were almost the only ones there, good timing. The sunset BBQ was ok although the food is cooked in the morning and served cold. We got back at 18.45PM. A nine hour trip became a seven hour trip. Nice day but definitely not worth the money.

I have mixed feelings writing this review because i never like leaving an average review but unfortunately, that is what we experienced.
Joy responded promptly to emails w we hung I greatly appreciate but I do wish it was clearer what the experiences would be and that the tour recommended wouldn’t be best for a 2yr old. It seems they are known for a BBQ dinner tour which probably would have been better. The details just aren’t what I expected for that price.
For instance, we were picked up 20min late (with no call) in an open back truck which is customary in Thailand however with a 2yr old, I would have gone with a different option if that was clear but I was never tons, and it smelled so strong of gas I was nauseous when we arrived. The boat is very old and shows major signs of wear & tear. We got to the boat and there is no toddler life vest, which I asked twice about before we git to Thailand so we could bring one and were told they had one. The life vest onboard was for a much larger child (maybe 4-5yrs old) so we wasted time trying to find a smaller one then tightening it. Finally at our 3rd stop, our guide found a life vest that fit which was great but the snorkeling place was passed already so we didn’t use it much. Our guide was nice as were the crew but we hoped to hear a lot more about the area and islands and got nothing. He was also smoking on our stops and although the scenery was gorgeous and they were extremely friendly with our daughter, it didn’t feel customized to our needs. The lunch was delicious however Bamboo Island was so crowded, rocky and with huge waves so our little girl couldn’t even play in the water. Scrolled equipment was good and they had cold waters too but we had a forced itinerary and had to stay at certain places, even though I asked the day before as I heard another itinerary may get better but was assured we were on the right one (maybe just because of the added price).
The saving grace was their agreement to drop us at our hotel vs the pier which was fantastic!!! It saved us time, gave us extra time on the boat and was needed after it got super hot and was too crowded at Bamboo Island so we left quite early. Amazing reviews so I would give them the benefit of the doubt, especially given how beautiful the scenery is, but our experience wasn’t what I expected given I have been in 2 other boat tours in the Sea.

We booked a private speedboat tour of both the James Bond excursion as well as the Phi Phi Islands excursion offered through Andaman Camp and Cruise. Honestly, the snorkeling at the Phi Phi stops was some of the best I've experienced anywhere in the world. It was an amazing experience and we would highly recommend this company. The boat was very comfortable with a captain, as well as an English speaking guide. We saw breathtaking scenery and enjoyed the national parks, snorkeling and swimming. They made us an authentic Thai lunch each day which we enjoyed very much. They even went through the trouble to prepare something that was gluten free since a member of our party has a food allergy and were very accommodating. The speedboat picked us up right from our hotel on Tonsai beach and it was super convenient. We worked with Joy the owner who was incredibly responsive and made the booking process very easy. Would highly recommend!

This was our second time booking a boat tour as a family (we booked it in 2018 when our kids were smaller) and it was every bit as enjoyable as before. The boat guide and captain were very good with the kids and extremely accommodating. We booked a half day Hong Island tour which included water, soft drinks, lunch and fresh fruit. The food was authentic Thai fare and delicious.. Many thanks to Joy for being so responsive to my emails and messages..We learnt that Joy is Irish (my husband is Irish) and had a lovely time chatting about life back home. I highly recommend Andaman camp and cruise if you're looking for consistent quality and a fuss-free experience with no drama. I will be sure to book with them when I am back in Krabi again.

We booked 2 day trips from Ao Nang to Hong island and the five islands. Both, exceeded our expectations.
Booking was very easy. Booked on their website. Response was prompt and recommendations great. Easy payment. We paid cash to the guide on the day of our visit. The company honoured our word of paying per visit. They did not request deposits or insist on ID documents.
The guide and skipper was very attentive to every need. As it was a private trip, we had the great opportunity to forward our requests and expectations to the guide and skipper. They took us to best and less crowded spots to swim and snorkel. we had an amzing wonderful experience!!
The lunch, fruit and drinks were ample. They served us a very tasty lunch and dessert. Mainly Thai cuisine.
We had 2 amazing days!!
I can highly recommend this company if you want to experience a personalized wonderful trip.

Our experience with Andaman Camp and Cruise couldn’t have been better. We did a private all day tour to Hong Island and a bunch of neighboring beaches - was the most spectacular scenery and guide (Wudy) we had all trip. The service was unparalleled and professional, and really helped us make the most of our day. From knowing where to snorkel, to showing us the best spots to hang out, to a delicious hot multicourse lunch!!, to expert steering of the longtail, and a wonderful ride to and from, it was a delight. We went with another tour operator a few days after to Pi Phi and our guide was nowhere as knowledgeable or invested in our experience as Wudy was. He also took a bunch of pics for us without us even asking, which was so nice.
Our longtail driver was also an expert. The winds and waves were crazy on our day out, and he expertly navigated every jetty and landing to help my elderly parents and toddlers get off safely.
Thank you for a great day- we can’t wait to come back and be with you all again!

Ahmazing Experience.
Joy and her husband were so knowledgeable about what you should do in krabi. But frankly, more than what they know, what mattered to us was how thoughtful they were.
Joy was very prompt in advising the itinerary too which easily made our whole experience 10 times better.
Krabi is insanely beautiful and we had such a great time due to the Andaman team.
Also, a shout out to our guide Ying, who was fantastic.
You have my highest recommendation if you are planning krabi. These people are amazing

Bonjour Elisabeth
Merci

Hi, my parents and i were planning to go to hong island for a one day trip tour on a private longtail boat but all i found was too over the limit of our budget. Any help or advise?
Written 18 October 2018
Private longtail boats are expensive and Andaman is worth every penny spent - so I would recommend that you save somewhere else and . But if your budget is going overboard than I suggest you just land up at the pier on the given day and bargain with the local boat companies on the spot - you will get a much better rate - maybe even half of what Andaman is quoting.

Hi I will be going in two weeks but worried about the weather as recently a boat flipped and 40 people died. Anyone has been to Krabi and did the tour recently?
Written 14 July 2018
Krabi is different with Phuket. There are so many islands in Krabi to cover the wind as you see in the map long island is the good one to protect the wind from the west which is coming now. But if you still worry the best to go in the rainny season is hot spring.

Hi, I will be travelling with my family (3+ yr. old kid). The concern is where should I go and make my itinerary for 2.5 days. if anyone can help would be great.
Written 17 May 2018
Don't worry. There's so many tour booth there in Krabi. You can take a look at their available attractions and negotiate. See which 1 suited your family. Usually their trips comes with food as well.
