We went there in the morning during winter and the beach was so lovely. It is not crowded with just enough people to make you feel sufficiently comfortable. The beach is clean, and the view of the sea and mountain is just invigorating. You feel fresh and energetic after the trip. We even found a crab along the beach. My daughter enjoyed climbing the rocks and we ecstatically dipped ourself in water despite it being slightly cold. This is definitely a place to go to from Muscat for a short break on weekends. I suggest you bring a small tent and mat as cover and place to sit. Some even bring a full camping set, cooking equipment and tools, presumably for those who stayed overnight camping by the beach. It was a lovely experience.

a 45 minutes drive from muscat along the scenic road to yiti is highly recommended. the beach itself was up to or even above the omani beach high standard. it was a fine sandy beach with fantastically clear water, peaceful and quiet. but what impressed me the most was the scenic drive through village of all white houses and buildings, rock canyon, and date plantation. this short trip gives you an idea why oman is a leading destination when it comes to tourism in the gulf.

If you enjoy a walk on the beach and a relatively quiet one. This is a good spot. Not too far from the crowne plaza +-30mins and enjoy A little bit of litter but nothing too hectic

Yiti is another good beach near Muscat. While going there keep the tank full and it is advisable to take water and eatables with you particularly if going with children. Takes 40 minutes from Muttrah. However if you are a tourist short on time it can be skipped. Not one of those must see spots.

It's a vlean isolated Rocky beach , half hour drive away from Muscat city . There are no shacks , eating outlets , restaurants or any fancy thing . it's very natural and beautiful . the visitors are very less and that's the beauty of that place .
