A scenic boat tour like many other Island tours in Thailand. Good place to swim. Plain surface, without much rocks, to swim. It is an experience to swim when plenty of colourful fishes around us. Lagoon, a naturally formed room, to protect fishermen from the nature is very good to see. Sunset at Lagoon is very beautiful.

Did a Hong Island tour we purchased on the street. Only 800 BHT each thank god because we were very disappointed after enjoying the 4 Island tour a few days before. The islands are all over crowded with tourist who have ruined the water quality-- water murky you could hardly see a meter in front of you let alone a... More

There are a lot of islands in Thailand that get a lot of hype. Hong is not one of those but it is so beautiful there. All of the lagoons and beaches are not overcrowded so it gives it a much more private feel

We took early private longtail from Tubkaek beach 1700Baht. Get there early as possible to avoid the crowds. Smaller and quieter than Phi Phi, but the types of fish are not as good. The nature trail around the back is not upto much, so don't bother. The resident swimming monitor lizard was main event ;O) Best seen from the air... More

Hong Island is really amazing... IN THE PICTURES!!! Besides being sooooo far from Railay Beach, our whole experience was terrible! We had 3 stops during the Hong Island tour: 1st one: Hong Lagoon - I´m sure it might have been awesome someday in the past. Nowadays, what we see is a very crowded lagoon, with lots of oil foam on... I liked the Hong Islands. Yes, no lonely island, but ok. Before going, I asked some providers for their prices. The cheapest I found was the one with Krabi Kingdom Travel & Tour for 900. I should have paid more... The boat was really rusty and slow. The paint and rust from the boat made stains on the passengers clothes.... More

We booked a trip with a boat, visiting 4 places. One of them was Hong Island. The lagoon is nice to see, but I would have liked some more time there. Unfortunately with a group of about 20 people that was impossible. In total we were allowed 2 hours at Hong Island. Many many tourists on a small beach. When... More

I loved this place, we stopped here as part of a boat tour of the Krabi Bays and it was my favourite place of all. The landscape is very unusual and the little bay was great for snorkelling. It is less crowded here then Phi Phi islands and is a fantastic place to relax and explore for a few hours.... More
