Beautiful hiking train in the Biosphere reserve
Oct 2018 • Family
Visited Ruta del Alba in September. This is a beautiful paved and protected hiking trail along river Alba, in the Redes Natural Park, which is a biosphere reserve. It was easy to hike with a 6 yo, so the trail is mostly flat. Beautiful stunning scenery, fascinating views of the mountains and the valley. I highly recommend visiting for a day trip. The river runs through the mountains so the water is very cold, be careful. Bring your own snacks, drinking water is available. The entrance is free, and there's a free parking lot. The trail starts in the village, with nice restaurants and cafes. If you enjoy the outdoors and like hiking, this is a must see destination for you.
