Highlands golf public course Caddy hire is highly recommended. Tips range from RM$20pp, the same for half-play also. Course layout has changed since the past. 7+years, as we were told. Grass type as well. Condition for out course (hole-1 to hole-9) is not as good as we remembered. In course appeared to be better. We enjoyed lunches there before or... More

went for a walk at sundown. it was cold as it was raining all evening, thus the weather turned misty by 630 pm and the view with the changing hues of sunset made my time there surreal. course is well kept and was beautiful.

well this course is quite nice, well kept and the awesome weather in cameron just makes it even better. and towards the evening as the sun sets the view and the cool mist just alters the entire landscape giving an eerie feeling. if you have a chance you have to check it out. cheers

Narrow fairways and the storm drain intersecting almost every hole make this a challenging course (it certainly isn't long). The scenery is fantastic and temperature very pleasant due to the altitude. Nine holes for a foreigner at weekends costs 80 ringgit and clubs can be hired for 60. Balls can be bought from standby caddies around the left-hand side of... More

All 18 holes of the course are open (Front Brinchang Nine and Back Tanah Rata Nine). In general the fairways and greens are in good condition. Sadly the Clubhouse has not been well maintained and it's starting to show with amenities such as no soap in the showers, along with tap handles missing in a number of showers. Green fees... More

If you're allergic to bee stings, don't play golf here. The Club management doesn't issue any precautions about possible attacks by swarms of bees even after several incidents of golfers being attacked, and if you get stung, don't expect them to be sincerely sympathetic!

Playing golf in cool and scenic surroundings is what golfers come to Cameron Highlands for but it has taken so long to get the course back into play due to numerous delays that one can only play 9 holes, the other 9 being 'maintained'.

Revamp of the course has taken a long time and still the second 9 only looks to be ready early 2015. The course layout is still challenging and many previous holes now completely reversed / turned around. Can't complain about the superb weather tho. Lots of nice memories so a little biased here. Especially the days when RM 40+ would... More

This is a beautiful course. At the moment the back 9 are being re-constructed but by 2015 the whole lot should be open. You are recommended to have a caddy when you play but the guys are really knowledgeable about the course. You don't have to be a member.

I have played the course half a dozen times over the 8 to 10 years whenever we visit the highlands. The course has changed a couple of times and different nines open due to work . The greens are not as good during my last visit and the back nine not open but still an enjoyable time out on the... More
