I love visiting cave systems, there is something so awe-inspiring when you stand in enormous caverns wondering if this is what prompted man to try and emulate it in cathedrals above the surface. Our guide was so amusing that day he really should have considered the comedic route as a career. He showed us various oddities in the rock formations... More

We went to see the caves on the last day before they closed for Winter. What a fantastic place. Made even better by the fact there was only us and the guide in the caves for the whole tour. We combined it with the Museum. Well worth getting the audio guide for both. A full day!

A great way of spending a couple of hours - the caves are magnificent, a sight to behold. Wear a cardigan or light jumper as it's so much cooler in the cave than outside. although not so much as to be uncomfortable. The compulsory guided tour is in french or english - we took a french tour as we couldn't... More

The caves were great and we enjoyed the museum. There is a restaurant near by which does very good food. The guide at the caves was very good.

We have visited various caves and grottes in the region, but this one has just topped our 'A' list!! We were lucky enough to have an excellent Dutch/English speaking guide who knew his subject extremely well and was both educational and amusing at the same time - the sign of a good subliminal 'educator' in our opinion!!! There are over... More

Reports do n't do the caves justice. The sheer scale and grandeur of the caves is amazing. There are limited English tours, the rest are in French. The tours are all timed so you may have to wait if the weather is bad as lots of people visit the caves as a wet weather option

We loved the caves. We arrived in time for an English tour and our guide was great. The caves were brilliant and the tour was very interesting. There were plenty of children too. You need to take a warm jacket - it's 11 degrees down there. The museum was also very interesting for adults and children alike. There was plenty... More

You have to descend 700 steps to reach the last wonderful Cave. The guide was fantastic. He was very good to take care of the children gathering them in front of nature's beautiful forms and telling them about the origins of the cave, and he did not forget the adults
