Lots of cats

Everything seemed closed down around the beach but a life guard was on duty for the surfers but sadly no where to buy a drink today... but lots of friendly cats :)

We stopped at this beach for lunch. Bigger waves than on the Carribean side. Also, more rocks at the bottom. Hovever, nice clean area, free change rooms, picnic tables, and lockers for your stuff. The water was warmer than I expected, especially being raised on the Atlantic..in Canada...very nice place for a picnic...

Calm east coast beach very open grassy areas. Good hiking trails. Picnic A small waterfall which if you climb has a small erosional cave.

The ocean here is the stillest it is anywhere on the east coast. It is beautiful with a coral reef in the middle. Very quiet with no tourists when we were there. There are no water sports, restaurants etc, more wild and natural. Large car park facilities. Local children playing and swimming.

Stunning scenery...a complete contrast to the sun-bathing beaches of the west coast. Hire a car and take the coast road and stop and be amazed by the views...

We stayed near Bath beach and ended up popping by several times for a quick dip on our way back The east coast is very choppy but at Bath beach the reefs just offshore stop the waves and the beach is calmer and swimmable most times There are toilets and changing rooms on the beach and it is usually quiet... One of the very few places that its safe to swim in the east coast, there is a life guard on duty but i advise caution and be very carefull of your children. lovely fine sand and plenty of shade under the trees. There are picnic tables and toilets available and outside showers. A small childs playground is just opposite... More

This is a rare, safe swimming spot on the east coast of Barbados, and it's also a lovely place to come for a picnic. Tables are provided under the shade of the many trees on this part of the beach. The swimming bay is shaped in a crescent and you can see breakers forming outside over a reef that protects... More

We chanced upon this beach, and spent a few hours enjoying the peace and quiet and the beauty of this beach. I only wish we had brought a picnic!
