We went there last week as a day out from Belfast. I was warned the owl sanctuary is pretty small, but I thought it couldn't be that small. Well unfortunately it is. But don't let this put you off visiting, just plan other activities for your day as I doubt you could spend more than an hour here. There is... More

Thank you for your review. Our centre is a 5 and a half acre site, large enough i would have thought, but yes can be navigated quickly if one wanted to, we are one of the largest owl collections in the UK. I have asked all our female staff and from what i gather none of them remember being asked... More

Great spot, friendly and informative staff and the chance to see beautiful birds of prey up close. The staff are volunteers and use their time and skills to look after the birds. Some reptiles and spiders as well.

Took the grandkids here today as they love animals, and they were not disappointed. All the birds were in plain sight and it didn't matter how tall you were, they could see everything. There was a good variety of birds, plus the reptile centre. The staff were very obliging and opened windows so that you could get better photos of... More

This place is a MUST to visit. Not only are there a wide variety of our feathered friends, but it has a picnic and BBQ area, little gift shop, cafe, play area and a lovely forest walk. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful with their directions which you will need to get through the forest. The walk is... More

This place is well run by enthusiastic staff who take pride in looking after a wide variety of owls and other birds of pray. They are friendly and easy to talk to and know a lot about the birds and other animals in their care. We will be back for sure now that we know about this place. Thank you.

Visited today with two children who love animals. Beautiful location we went for a walk in the woods after. The owls are stunning and kept us entertained for ages. Small inside bit with snakes, spiders ect. It was a lovely day so ate our picnic on the benches and then kids played on swings for a while. Small gift shop... More

long overdue visit to World of Owls on a Saturday afternoon. The place is an absolute joy. The drive through Randalstown and the forest sets the tone, very harry potter with a huge viaduct/train bridge that you drive along side over the river, through the village and into the woods. World of Owls itself has a lovely folky/fairytale vibe which... More
