World of Owls is the largest most diverse collection of owls in the UK and Ireland. There is also other birds of prey, reptiles, insects & many other animals to see. There is a small children's play park, tea, coffee and light refreshments available, gift shop and it is wheelchair accessible. Please visit our website for full details. worldofowls It is a voluntary registered charity with all the staff working for no reward to look after the animals and educate the guests. It is a licensed and regulated zoo but not government funded. It is rustic and rural and the vast majority of the animals there have been rescued.

My 2 year old son has an obsession with owls and I must draw about 64 owls a day for him.... So instead of doing that I thought I'd take him and my neice to the world of owls... Just knowing he'd love it.... And...More

Mike at WOO is a fantastic person who genuinely cares about the welfare of his birds. He was full of interesting information and was a good laugh as well. The animals seem very relaxed and well cared for. Would recommend a visit!

Owner is great craic, focused on the welfare of his animals and not trying to flog you merchandise. I've been twice, and will be back again.

Took my 2 grandchildren to this attraction and left feeling a little cheated. No decent café facilities, toilets very poor, no picnic area, shop a joke, the reptiles were really crammed into small cages etc, the out buildings look like that they have seen better...More

Obviously not going to please everyone. You walked through our cafe area to see our reptiles and shop. Toilets are cleaned every hour and are the cleanest of any place i have ever visited. The out buildings are stores! why even mention this!! the older...More
