I've noticed this place from the motorway many times and never visited, until last weekend Weather was on my side and hardly anyone around. Beautiful ruins with a long 700 year story Well worth a visit, take a picnic and relax

Fascinating ruins. There are interesting information recordings which you can activate at various points. It's free and you can take your dogs, parking on the road side. Amongst best presented ruins I have been to, well worth a visit.

There are limited facilities here, but the ruins are free to enter. They cover a large area and are very interesting to explore. They are hidden away on an industrial estate so check a map before visiting.

A lovely place to visit, been so many times it has beautifully kept grounds around well preserved ruins alongside a canal...which is also a lovely place to walk and take photographs

It was beautifully planted and a peaceful place to just sit and be quiet for a few minutes. The age of the ruins seemed to enhance the quiet, even when family came to see the ruins, it still seemed peaceful

Without giving a history lesson, these ruins of a very important Cistercian Abbey were once the biggest in Wales. The Neath area has an incredible history and the Abbey is justly famous - as the artist impression shows - it was huge. Walking around the...More

Neath abbey ruins. Will you see a ghost? I found the atmosphere here almost electric. Beautiful setting besides the canal.
