There was a buffet offering outside prior to the Junkanoo parade. We had an excellent curried lamb over peas and rice along with cole slaw side for $14. Topped off with a celebratory Goombay Smash. The owner sells the Goombay Smash by the gallon for $80 which may make sense for a group or to go.

This is a tiny place that we never would have stopped at if someone didn't tell us about it. We bought a gallon of Goombay smash and the the owner asked if we wanted Conch Fritters. Let me just say we ate A LOT on conch fritters in our week in the Bahamas and these were by far the best!

Authentic Green Turtle Cay Bar. The Goombay Smashes are great, but be careful they are potent! We ended up buying a gallon jug to take back to the house. Must visit.

I first visited Miss Emily's Blue Bee Bar in the early 1970's from Palm Beach and my boyfriend and I nailed our picture onto the wall - we stopped off whilst sailing around the Abacos on SOLUTION and stayed for a few days at the Green Turtle Cay Club, which is nothing to write home about - we had a... Miss Emily's is a must while you are on Green Turtle Cay. You can spend hours looking at all of the "mementos" that past travelers have left as decor to adorn the walls. Miss Emily's has the best Goombay Smash, but beware. They are strong and sneak up on you. Only buy a gallon if you have lots of friends... More

We have been visiting this place since the 1990s. They have the best goombay smash drinks and delicious food! Be sure to leave a dollar on the wall!

We three couples rented golf carts and toured the island. Thanks to my husband's TripAdvisor inquiry, we found this truly Bahamian bar, Miss Emily's, now run by her sweet daughter, Violet. We bought a gallon of Goombay Smash, kept rest in cooler. If you really want a local experience, don't miss Emily's. We were not staying on the island, so... More

This is absolutely a must go to place and meet Miss Emily, the pleasant owner. Her father started the business and they make their famous, secret recipe Goombay Smash. It is the best ever. If you visit with a crowd, they can be purchased by the gallon. I could have drank many more . They were so delicious, we are... More

We have been buying gallons of Goombay Smash from Miss Emily's Blue Bee Bar for 5 years, always our first drink when we arrive! Lord knows why we had not had dinner there before this year, but from now on it will be a definite to do. When we made our reservation for dinner, because there were 8 of us,... More
