A bit of a drive depending where you are staying. Took an hour to drive from Governor's Harbour. Cool historical site. Beautiful beach a small path from the parking area.

Very cool place with an interesting history. If you skip across the street, there's another amazing beach with nobody on it- but watch for boat traffic!! Stay close to shore.

If you like history this is a must for you when on Eleuthera. If you don't like history the beach is pretty amazing here too. It is worth the drive.

This was an awesome cave to check out with some cool history. We followed a long path where we could hear water and it was a cool beach with a great view.

A bit of the beaten path and not well signed, it's best to use GPS to find it. However, once there the history of the earliest settlers of Eleuthera is incredible.

This is the cave where the first English settlers in the Bahamas seeked refuge after getting shipwrecked at the Devil's Backbone reef. The cave itself is not too exciting, but it is a must-see when visiting the north part of the island. One can take...More
