First of all, let me warn you that to get here you have to go through absolutely hardcore road - I could not believe that almost after a kilometer of wild road and bushes I will get to these great houses that look like a ghost town and the beautiful Tropic of Cancer Beach - it took me a day... We visited Exuma for 6 days. A couple of days we did a tour of the beaches. This beach was far and away the most beautiful beach we saw. It was clean, with nothing washed up on shore. The colors of the waves were amazing. There were very few other folks there.

remote beautiful beach. Please remember: the main paved road you turn off.. there are trash cans!!! So when you leave the beach take your trash with you and put in those cans. Don't leave your empty kalik bottles in the tiki hut. If there is a few bottles left from other later bugs why not throw them away too. Good... More

Very quaint and picturesque little beach hut leads you to the gorgeous stretch of beach with the famous azure waters and some nice formations offshore. Kids had a lot of fun playing in the waves, there didn't seem to be a strong undertow the day we were there. As with almost all beaches in the exumas, no facilites or rentals... More

As advertised. Beautiful long sand beach, gentle slope into the water. If it is windy, a few waves but nothing crazy. Love going here and so far the times we have goNE we have had the beach to ourselves. Coco plum beach is stunning as well, except this past 2 weeks the road to it (main one) has been closed... More

This beach is picture perfect. Water of so many blues you think you have filters on your eyes. :) Just stunning.

If you don't mind a bit of a hike over uncertain terrain, the beach at the end of your journey is one of the most beautiful places you will see on Exuma. We headed south from George Town about 25 minutes and the turnoff is well marked. While previous reviews mentioned a dirt road, we were surprised by the pitted,... More

The beach is beautiful, spectacular really. For very strong swimmers there may be snorkeling opportunities at a large rock about 1/2 mile off shore. But if you are staying at Sandler or Grand Isle, weigh your options. Coco Plum beach is just as beautiful, if not more so, and is much closer to those resorts. If you have the time,... More

Very quiet beach, pristine white sand, the sea is a range of blues. Magical views of the islands nearby, a special place to visit. The rocky road to the beach is worth driving even though you must take care not to bottom out.
