I basically break my vacations down into 5 categories (5 stars) and I will lay them out here. Staff (0 stars) : In the bahamas there's this thing called "Island time", it's just their synonym to describe laziness. I have two examples: First night we were there we got in around 6:30. Must see if in Grand Bahama! Super soft sand and crystal clear water. Easily accessible and close to center of Freeport with great little food shacks all around!

It has a washroom but not a change room taxi ride to the beach is around 15.00 one way. There will be lots of children on this beach because there are flotations devices in the water, like a water park. You will have to pay for an umbrella .

This was my first experience with a Caribbean beach, and I was a little underwhelmed. Cost money just to get on the beach (this was after a crazed, overloaded taxi ride from the port). The guy selling food was rude (conch burger was still good), and the bartender sold me beer and didn't even open it for me. I got... More

The beach was very very pretty and clean looking, and there was a cute little restaurant on it that you can relax and drink at.

Beautiful beach! The water is clean and peaceful, green in colour, quite nice and warm. Lots of people you can also enjoy jet skiing if you so desires.
