We stopped here on our way to the east end of the island. This beach is absolutely beautiful! The walking trail to Bens Cave was nice, the mangroves were cool, but the beach is really the sight to see.

It's just a short walk through the park and the caves are rather mundane but it gives a good feel of the flora without development. Expansion of the park would make this a much better (and longer) experience, but then visiting can only help finances for that. The best part now is Golden Rock Beach, perhaps the best beach in... Our tour guide was Sam and this was a great experience, and one we would recommend to anyone!! Our group of three had a wonderful day! The lunch was fine and Gold Rock Beach was breathtaking! We booked this tour though our cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines. We were taken on a bus from the pier and then switched over... More

I was well worth the $5 each but it isn't that large a park. A relatively short wooden walkway takes you to Gold Rock Beach. The raccoons and redwing blackbirds beg for food all along the walk (take some bread if allowed?). Gold Rock Beach is huge at low tide and very pretty but the trail back is closed so... More

We took a 1/2 day and drove to Lucayan National park. There is no need to book a tour here, you can get there very easily if you have a rental car and it's pretty much a self guided short tour of 2 caves and some plant life and amazing Gold Rock Beach! The cost is $5 per person for... More

The caves are cool and interesting. Our tour only went into two caves but as a kid I remember going into two different caves. The mangroves were pretty too, we even hand-fed a raccoon (the biggest land predator), but Gold Rock Beach is the pinnacle of this location. I can't say enough about this beach. It's the prettiest beach I've... More

We visited Lucayan National Park on a self tour with a rented Jeep. There are two sections to the Park: the caves and the beach. There is a short walking tour to visit the caves. The beach is accessed by two paths. We opted for the long path first (going to the right after you cross the road). There wasn't... More

We booked this via Viator for a third-party company who did not disappoint. Not only were they waiting for us to disembark from our ship a full 45 minutes earlier than they'd told us to expect them, but it was smooth sailing past a number of other hotels to our arrival at LNP. While it's not very clear, this particular... More

This sis a beautiful place. If you have a few days on the GBI then I would for sure take the time to go here. Bit of a drive out of Freeport but very interesting flora and fauna. The sand dunes are not as large as I would have thought but given October's hurricane Matthew probably damaged on my visit.... More
