We're staying just up the road and saw this on tripadvisor. As it's on the way to Cabbage Beach we decided to stop off en route. The One and Only Beach Club is currently closed for refurbishment but we parked next to the security gate and walked the few metres to the entrance on Paradise Island Drive. The gardens extend... This was a 5-10 minute walk past the Comfort Suites Paradise Island, located within the currently closed grounds of the One and Only Ocean Club. The grounds span both sides of Paradise Island Drive. We walked around for about 10 minutes, and encountered 3 different photo shoots. Then, someone approached us and told us the area was closed so we... More

Despite Gerald's review below, it is not closed to the public. I was there in November as well, and you can still walk from the road to the water's edge, and you can also walk from the road on the other side all the way up to the amazing pool. The rest is closed until February as they're cleaning up... More

Went to visit it this month, NOV., 2016, and found it is now private and owned by a beach club. Looked great from the sidewalk, and they were cleaning up the gardens after the Hurricane.

O&OOC is a beautiful and quiet place with gorgeous views. It caters to those with refined tastes. Service is top notch. Villas are very private. View from outdoor restaurant, golf course and pool is stunning. We visited the gardens and walked the grounds but were not staying here. The gardens are a quiet place to reflect. Could use some attention though.... More

Beautiful, UNIQUE & a must see. Views from the Nassau Bay to the Cloisters (Brought piece by piece to the Bahamas from France) to views of the ocean, gardens and pool. A must see to describe, a great photo opportunity, views for miles.

I had a great vacation in Paradise Island, Bahamas. I went see the Versailles Gardens and French Cloister. The length of Versailles is a stone path covered in Bermuda grass.

A great place to spend the day and checkout the magnificent view of the Harbor. Very centrally located and best if you try and get to it by boat.
