We got into the main door but the door to get inside the cathedral was locked so we had to look through the glass doors at the entrance. The stained glass windows behind the alter were stunning.

Check out the memorial plaques on the walls. They tell of the young lives lost at sea, the history of local leaders, and the hardships of life in the 1800s.

No cost to visit. And it’s in the heart of downtown Nassau so yes, you should be able to walk. I don’t know how far it is to the conservatory. Enjoy!
