Beautiful beaches but....

The beaches are really pretty.. white sand, clear blue waters! The only problem was the trash.. it was everywhere on the beaches! I would revisit though!

This is an easy walk from the cruise port, which means that when there are a lot of ships in port, it is crowded. We checked it out and enjoyed that the water was beautiful and clean. There is a little outside shower which is nice for rinsing off after. There are plenty of vendors selling everything from artwork and... More

Nice to be able to go for a swim when it is so hot outside but to have to walk on sand that is full of little rocks that it hurts to walk is not pleasant what so ever and then to go into the water and once again watch were you walk because of all the rocks, I myself... More

This was our 2nd time in Nassau, but our 1st to Junkanoo Beach. It is a close walk fro the ship port to the beach. Its not a very large area but nice as its close to shopping and restaurants. My wife and son really enjoyed it. There are areas to rent chairs, umbrellas, etc.. as well as plenty of... More

This place in the day is such a tourist trap. Their drinks are overpriced and service is hurried. At night- when the locals see their day coming to an end and the workers can slow down and relax- this place is chill. Its great to have a drink and slow conversation with everyone here. The moonlight glow is perfect as... More

Not really my style - more of a spring break kind of vibe... But some people love that! Beach is nowhere near as nice as others in Nassau, however it's pretty great to be able to take a dip while you're downtown. Enjoyable if you're feeling social but not the place to go if you're looking for a quiet spot.

When you have a limited time in the Bahamas because you are on a cruise ship, you have to make a decision.....shopping or beach. Junkanoo is close enough so that you can do both. There is no beach fee like the other places ($85 for one with a bus ride and Atlantis is a waste with one hour lines for... More
