We visited this place several times during our stay and loved the dacquiris. They were made with a lot of fresh fruits and the price is much better than the resort we stayed at. On our last visit, we ordered strawberry dacquiris just like our previous visits but they looked bright red unlike pinkish red from our previous visits. When we drank them, they tasted syrupy and artificial which was disappointing. We didn’t watch them make the dacquiris this time as there were people sitting and blocking our view. We came late that night so they might have ran out of fresh berries. If that was the case, they could have told us so we can order something else. A friend who has a home in Nassau told us about this place and it didn't disappoint. I ordered a pina colada daq and the bartender made it with fresh coconut and it was amazing! There was only one bartender but the wait wasn't that long considering - well worth it!

Not only are the daiquiris made with FRESH fruit, cut right in front of you, the staff is incredible!! It doesn’t get much better than fresh fruit tasty drinks and friendly service! A friend with a dietary restriction needed white rum instead of dark rum and they easily accommodated. Located straight across from the Melia. This is the original and even the staff will tell you it’s the best location. …

I never drink fruit-based drinks. This is an exception in the extreme. A dozen or so fresh fruits available - pick 3. Polo will cut the fruit, work the blender and add a *generous* amount of rum. I did the coconut (cut fresh), banana, and kiwi. Then I had a second. A bit stumbly, but not driving, so all good! Definitely not your hotel-bar over-sweet and no booze gross thing with an umbrella.…
