The place is okay. Really small museum with very limited exhibitions. My 4 year old did not enjoy it. In fact, he was terrified. It is too dark for young children. Over priced considering what you get. Very friendly people, everywhere. Had a drink at...More

The pirates museum is an awesome place to visit! Once inside you will walk through an interactive like tour, where you will hear, see, and read about the history of the pirates. Recommended for family or couples.

Visited here with my family and had a great time. The whole museum takes about 30-40 minutes to finish. The pirate ship theme with pirate mannequins is nice. I think they should probably have some more people dressed as pirates (they only had two, one...More

Very nice if you are into history. My little boy age 3, didn't care too much for some of the dark spots. But, overall a nice spot to get some history and take a break from the heat.

A nice and brief intro to pirates. Heavy on the dioramas but those are mostly pretty cool too. A quick walk through, not a ton of reading. A bit pricey ($13-adult) but worth a look if you love pirates.

I think any little boy and a for sure Pirates of the Caribbean lover will enjoy this museum. They have recreated a partial life size pirate boat in one section and the others they have really put some thought and creativity into it. Very impressive.

I went there with my gf and we didn't regret. At the entrance we have met a pirate that greeted us and jokingly try to rob. All expositions are well explained, have humor in them and fun to visit. Highly recommend! !!

Very interesting and well done--the exhibits were very realistic looking and informative and banished a lot of Pirate myths that are commonly held. Save this little gem for a rainy day or an extremely hot day!

Did this museum tour on a tour package we booked on a cruise ship. It gives a colorful history of pirating in the Bahama area. The museum is not very large but it is informative and gets you out of the island heat,
