Okay, so as in other reviews, you do have to wait until the boat fills up before taking off, but you can sit in the boat and enjoy the fresh air and views until you take off. You are not in traffic or listening to beeping cars. No safety that I noted, no life preservers or rings or any kind... More

My family wasted an hour waiting for them to leave. There were about 20 people on the boat and no sign of we were leaving the dock anytime soon. My husband demanded his money back, and had to argue with them to get it. The rest of the group with us also demanded their money and we all took a... More

Fun way to go into town for a change, it takes you by the cruise ships, very impressive. It takes you right to straw market

Used the Water Taxi on 11/18/2016 to get to Downtown Nassau from Paradise Island. HOURS: 9AM to 6PM. *DISCLAIMER! We were told that the taxis are 'every 30 minutes'. Naturally we assumed 9, 930, 10, 1030 and so on. This is NOT the case. "It is every 30 minutes from the FIRST customer. So say the first customer arrives at... More

A third-world operation from beginning to end. Cheap tickets at $4 each way. Tired run-down boats with two rows of benches on either side, which has to be full before they take off... we were the first on during the first trip and had to wait about 15 minute until it was full. It was a nice day so no... More

Run down dock and boats. Not punctual to every half hour at all. Don't be in a hurry if you're gonna take this water taxi. The guide on the boat made the ride. He was funny with a bit of interesting facts. Made some good jokes to keep the crowd happy. But one ride was enough. Felt like a huge... More

We had been told the water taxi was cheaper than a taxi to get from Nassau to Paradise Island, so we purchases our round-trip tickets at $8 each. The company is called 'GLASS BOTTOM WATER TAXI' (hope I have that exactly right). The only thing 'glass bottom' is the name. The boat is actually a really old wooden boat. When... More

We used this service to get from to Paradise Island after porting in Nassau on our cruise ship. It was fine and $8 round trip pp isn't bad if it's just 1-2 people but I've got to imagine a taxi would be cheaper if you have a family. The "tour guides" on the boat have a rhetoric about the buildings/famous... More

We were going to Margaritaville and when I called, they said the water taxi dropped off at their front door. We were going from the cruise port. We bought tickets at a booth in the straw market right at the end of the pier, walked a LONG way to the boat and they took us across the way. They docked... More

This a scenic, but scary ride. Take the the taxi over the bridge and directly to the beach or shopping area.
