Turtle Bay is lovely. It is one of Caneel's private beaches and there is no access across the property, though perhaps by boat. It's been a favorite over the years for guests who return to the property as it is quiet and has beautiful landscaping...More

We went to this beach every day we stayed at Caneel Bay. There were times we were one of 2-3 couples on the entire stretch. You could not ask for more, the sand is soft, the water is blue as can be, the scenery beyond...More

Gorgeous beach in St John, easily accessible by car or taxi (they wait out front). Trunk Bay has a snorkel trail (with reasonable rentals), a gift shop, a great snack bar and a bar with frozen drinks. Also has restrooms with showers which is convenient...More

Turtle bay is excellent for snorkel or just swimming. It is not crowded and at times I felt like I was in a private beach just for my family. We had a lot of fun and the kids definitely loved this place.

This is a very beautiful swimming spot on St. John. Turquoise waters and plenty of big trees for shade.

Nothing really to see. One turtle and some trash. I got bitten by water bugs on my arm and my legs got attacked badly by mosquitos at this location. Trunk Cay is prettier and more to see.

Turtle Bay is for guests of Caneel only. There are rooms only a few steps from Turtle Bay beach (beachfront) or rooms elsewhere on the property that you can be close to Turtle Bay. It's very quiet and secluded most of the... More
