It is very challenging to get to this beach. You need an four wheel drive to get here, but it is definitely worth the time it takes to get here. We arrived at 5PM and were the only people there. Hard to beat that!

The drive is a little tricky, four wheel drive required, but the beach is worth it. Went on three hour hike with teenage son, challenging but doable--good exercise. Didn't snorkel, but plan to make this the first beach we visit when we return to the island.

The road may be rough but it's fine for a stroll between the two bays. Nice walk to the point between the bays. Decent snorkeling too, and very peaceful at night.

It is very easy to get into the water, but other than the one rocky area on the left side, the water was murky and uninhabited. There is much better snorkeling at other beaches!

Didn't get to Little Lameshur which is just fine. Left the car at the end of the pavement. Or at least where the road ends, before somehow a ton of concrete shows up again. Walked about 3/10 of mile to the Tektite trail head. Fun little hike until you realize which does have some gorgeous views. However, the markers are... More

Because I heard the roar was pretty rough, I was nervous about going to this south side beach which is at the end of 107, the road out of coral bay. You go past salt pond to where the road turns into a dirt road & keep going. At this point, there is a USVI parks sign that says it's... More

Beautiful beach with parking right along the beach, but the road is in terrible shape, and dodgy even with four wheel drive. Not worth the trip considering you drive right by Salt Pond!

I read all the reviews about the "dangerous" drive into this beach on the dirt road. Please do not have any worries about this drive unless you do not have a four wheeled drive car. The jeep we rented was a piece of cake. Bumpy and a little muddy, but no problems at all. When you reach the end of... More

I read a few reviews that this beach was not worth the somewhat uncomfortable 1.5 mile drive from the main road, but I totally disagree. Once you reach your destination, you can park right at the beach, which is sandy with a pebble entry to the glass clear water. This is a great spot to relax, snorkel or paddle board.... More

This is like your own beach. But you need a jeep to get there and back. It's usual only for people who are staying a long time as it's off the beaten path. Such a special place. Bring your own food and drinks.
