To get to the Bay requires a 5 to 10 minute walk. The sand is not as nice as the north shore beaches. There is a lot of coral in the Bay, but not many fish. The coral is either dead or has been affected...More

This was good snorkeling, however it's a little hike and not the most prestigue beach on the island. That being said, they are all pristine.

A beautiful little bay with great snorkels along the rocks at either side , and out to the twin rocks. Take the short spur trail to Drunk Bay beach--fascinating "sculptures" left by visitors made from driftwood, stones and coral!

We snorkeled here several times and enjoyed viewing sea life. If you are an experienced snorkeler go to the rocks in the middle of the bay.

How good is the mud from salt pond for you?

Response from Kathy D | Reviewed this property |
I don't recall seeing any mud at all. The bay is surrounded by white sand. You might see some hermit crabs.
I would like to visit this area. I have an understanding that's it's in or near Galloway, NJ. Is there a place where I can get an address so I know exactly where to drive?

The Salt Pond Bay that I visited is in St. John, Virgin Islands.
