We snorkled here twice. It's always good to see something different than what you'd see on other parts of the island. Be sure to time the snorkel for when the current isn't strong or sea is swelling.

We hiked around the bay and the best part was waterlemon cay! Lots to see, from shark in the water along the walk to small trumpet fish and pebbly, beautiful beach, and gorgeous water!

We did not swim here as it's a long walk to get to the beach but you must drive down and take a look at how gorgeous the water is here. The colors are so vibrant and so many shades. Gorgeous. There is a bathroom here but no food or beverage.

The best snorkeling of our trip (St-Thomas, St-John) Nice 30 minutes walk, we followed the advice on the net and snorkeled around the watermelon cay counterclockwise. Coral in good condition, lot of fish. Better plan a pick up trip with a taxi. we had the chance to meet a safaribus and came back to Cruze bay.

Our 4th visit to St John and second time snorkeling Leinster and Waterlemon Cay. My wife and 2 twenty-somethings got to see and swim along with 2 dolphins. My middle kid's mask kept fogging at the Cay and she decided to swim to the shore for a remedy. My wife and youngest also started swimming that way to help out... More

We took this lovely walk from the Annanberg ruins to Leinster Bay. It was HOT. The trail was partly shaded and mostly flat. It was great to jump in at the bay and cool off. We had our masks and immediately saw a couple of rays and some beautiful fish. There were only 2 other people at this beach (which... More

The biggest warning I have is to arrange some form of taxi when you are done because this area does not have many people if any around the head of the trail. But, that is why it is so amazing. This trail leads you to Watermelon cay which is about as spectacular and untouched as you will find! In my... More

This was an undisturbed area for swimming with a barracuda, stingray, turtle and more. The coral was colorful and undamaged by tourists. Much appreciated.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to snorkel! The day we were there was perfect. The driver assured us that taxis came by this way all the time, and we would have no problem getting back to town. When it was time to leave, there was an island tour safari who was kind enough to take us back to town.... More

This is a nice walk. Seems a bit ruff for snorkeling but can see many corals just during the walk. Beautiful walk. Just remember to take your time!
