This pretty stretch of beach that runs along a natural cove is highly recommended for watching romantic sunsets and, for the naturalists, spotting iguana.

I reviewed Limetree back in 2013 as a beautiful beach, lacking in amenities, and an overzealous hotel staff. It's still a beautiful beach, but now the restaurant has reopened after almost 20 years of being closed and has livened the place up. If you have limited time, Limetree is a definite contender for your attention.

You can feed the iguanas hibiscus flowers but be careful they don't wip you with their tails. This is a nice laid back beach.

On the far East end of St Johns, on the south shore, past Skinny Legs, is a large rock beach. The road runs along much of the beach, but you must walk through trees for maybe 10 yards to get to the beach. This beach doesn't get crowded and for years we have never had an issue with parking and... More

...stayed for the rest of the afternoon. Nice beach and pool complex. Had a drink from the bar at Bluebeard's. All in all, it was nice. Waves here are larger than other beaches we've been to on this vacation but certainly nothing scary, more like larger swells. You can see the cruise ships as they pull out of harbor, FYI,... More

An excellent resort to relax and restore at. It is an older resort which has had recent renovations and is continually being up-graded. Staff and other personnel are very helpful and pleasant. Restaurant facilities were limited but new operator will be on-site shortly. Best to have rental vehicle for access to local restaurants, downtown Charlotte Amalie and other island sites.... More

My husband and I were married on this beach. Even raining, it was gorgeous. Everyone here was extremely polite and helpful. It was just the two of us and it could not have been more perfect!

The Limetree beach, pool bar and gift shop are on the grounds of Wyndham's Bluebeard's Beach Club....have stayed here several times before and enjoy the low key nature of the place...small, but nice beach to swim or snorkel and read a book from under the palms... Love the swim up pool bar and awesome bartending with Beu and Nick....these guys... More

Fantastic views of the sunset. It is near Bluebeard resort - some of the people we met who were staying there were extremely nice. Come here for the views and the quietness of the beach.

Bluebeard's Beach aka Limetree is gorgeous. It's not the best swimming beach on island, but I can't think of a beach of the south side of St. Thomas that is. It's quite sleepy, but they have a little poolside bar and place to rent water sports equipment. I read a review that says you can use their pool, hammocks, and... More
