Beautiful beach with great views. I didn't get in the water much because of the currents and it was a bit cloudy. The sun eventually came out and showed how clear the water was.

We love this beach. It’s quiet, and typically the people we meet there are are fun. That being said, I call this a “relaxing” beach. There really isn’t any snorkeling, although they do say there are a couple turtles that hang out there. I didn’t see them. I snorkeled for over an hour and the only thing I saw was a spotted trunk fish. Love those fish, but kind of disappointing that it was the only thing I saw. Could have just been the day/weather too. We will still go back, that’s for sure! The bar/restaurant were great! Always meet fun people here and we love the floating picnic table :)…

Not to be confused with Honeymoon Beach on St. John, this Honeymoon Beach is in Druif Bay on Water Island. Water Island is just west of Hassel Island in the Charlotte Amalie Harbor. Many tour boats stop here, as ours did, and there are plenty of private boats anchored in the bay. Or you can catch a ferry from Crown Bay Marina and then a golf cart ride if you aren’t up to walking. Bring your snorkel gear, because it is a good place to spot turtles grazing on the sea grass (I did, just watch out for the boats). Bring water shoes too because the shoreline is rocky. Thanks to Dinghy’s Bar and Restaurant, you won’t go hungry or thirsty. You might think Honeymoon Beach is off the beaten track because of the effort involved to get here, but the word is out. It is unlikely you will be alone in this little sliver of paradise.…

This was my second favorite beach, first was Trunk. When we first arrived, we thought it may be our favorite until the swarms of crowds took over. We like to enjoy our beach time with our two boys, however other families here let their kids run wild, play right by my chair, and throw sand which ruined the mood. I was told it was$49 including the taxi ride down but then they charged us $10 for the ride as well so not worth the money. There was a very nice gentleman from Eco tours running the parking but on the way out a taxi driver was yelling at him to squeeze more people onto the truck taxi. Of course that yelling taxi man didn’t have a mask on or care about social distancing so there went his tip. I felt like this beach wasn’t worth the hype.…

With so many nice beach's on St. John why Honeymoon? I can tell you why not. Four family member's Thursday Feb. 11th, thought it would be nice to have a beach bar, and get Lunch. Got there early brought our own chairs, and small cooler. One of the staff comes around taking orders while were on the beach, nice guy I remember his name, we go with a Strawberry Daquari, with their $15 cup. 10 bucks for the drink, a 5$ tip. Sooo 40 dollars for the Jitney ride, 30 dollars for one drink, thats 70$. Server comes back with drink, all good so far. My wife asks for a straw, he says he will be right back with one. Maybe 10 minutes goes by my Wife gets a twist tie in her mouth, from the drink. I dunno from a ice bag, cup bag? Don't care! Never got her straw by the way. I am beyond furious! I marched up to the bar and hollered pretty good. Sure they gave me new drink. I told the guy I was sorry for hollering, but I was upset, not the exact words I used, he aplogized for the twist tie. So maybe its me, ya know had she been gagging that frozen drink down with no straw she coulda swallowed it. We stayed and tried to salvage the day, had Lunch, nothing great about it. The Beach was very crowded! I can go to several Beach's even in high season with few people. And I can do a whole lot better then 70 Dollars for a contaminated Drink. SO WHY HONEYMOON? I will go sit somewhere else, 70 bucks buys a lotta Pineapple juice and Pussers Rum. Virgin eco tours/ Cannel Bay please feel free to respond.…
